forgot to add that the show took place in Baltimore and I believe David Simon had something to do with the show. A real fix for those who have a jones (70’s speak for addiction) for the wire.

Interesting list, I would add “Homicide Life on the Street – Seasons 1 & 2″ to that list, perhaps number 11. Arguably on of the best cop shows on regular network, ever.

Just a footnote to the above all three films have had their soundtracks completely remastered in DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1, this replaces the Dolby Digital Plus (Identity and Supremacy) and Dolby TrueHD (Ultimatum) found on the older HD-DVD versions of the films. The picture is pretty much identical to the HD-DVD prints, which is no bad thing as the HD-DVDs were high quality transfers. Full review coming soon.
